R-EVOLVE X Ceramic Wheel Coating

Armour For Your Wheels

R-EVOLVE X is a specialized high solids ceramic coating based on a ceramic polymer technology. The chemical composition contains individual silicon ceramic base molecules. As the carrier solvent evaporates and the deposited film is exposed to moisture, the individual molecules begin to transform such that the temporary bond to the surface is converted to a permanent, covalent bond whilst the individual base molecules interlink to form a cross-linked network. The final chemical composition of the cured R-EVOLVE X coating is a silicon/nitrogen hybrid which has many similarities to silicon nitride ceramic, a material used by NASA for the construction of rocket engine nozzles. When fully cured, R-EVOLVE has the following attributes:

-it is extremely hard providing excellent scratch resistance

-it has a low co-efficient of drag, meaning that abrasive particles are inclined to slide over the film, rather than catch and mark and cause marring

-Strong hydrophobic behaviour which inhibits the bonding of contamination and soiling

-Exceptional resistance to heat. In practice, heat will only act to strengthen the cross-linkednetwork

-Extreme chemical resistance, more so than the underlying surface.

Instructions for use:

Release cap slowly.

Apply to small areas at a time in light even strokes with suitable lint free applicator. It is important not to over apply and spread out any excess product. R-EVOLVE will become tacky asit dries.

Once the area worked upon is complete you may now buff clear any excess product and check for streaks before a final buff with a clean microfibre cloth.

This must be done within 10 minutes of finishing the application.

You may also apply R-EVOLVE X by Airbrush or Mini HVLP gun for a thicker film build and more enhanced protection. There should be no need to buff away excess product using this method unless it is over applied .The product will be fully weatherproof within 6 hours of application and continue to cure for a period of up to 30 days dependant on weather conditions. Any errors in application should be corrected within 5 minutes to avoid the natural repellence inhibiting the application of further product. Expected coverage is approximately 5ml per wheel but will vary depending on design etc..

Innovacar’s SiNH Hybrid Coat is a state-of-the-art professional water repellent nanotechnology treatment for cars developed with Innovacar’s exclusive Si-N-H technology.

This ceramic coat is the ideal solution to achieve a perfect balance between the inorganic part, which is typical of base coats, providing enhanced protection and making the treatment more resistant, and the organic part, which is typical of top coats, which increases water repellency.

Main features*:

Water repellency and self-cleaning properties: thanks to its water repellent, antistatic and dirt-repellent effects, it allows for low and easy maintenance;

Suitable for matt varnishes,PPF and wrapping: it is also suitable for use on matt varnishes, PPF protective films or wrapped machines and vehicles;

HOW TO USE :

How to optimally apply the nanoceramic treatment to the car’s bodywork:

It is recommended to:

Preferably apply the product in a temperature controlled environment ranging from +5 °C to 25 °C, free from contamination and with controlled humidity;
Apply the product in a well-lit environment.
Frequently replace the Micron Suede;
Use Micron 2F: the low pile part to remove 80-90% of the product and the long pile part to finish it off;
Change the Micron 2F often, every 2 panels on average;
Do not treat the surface with dirty or worn cloths.
For maximum efficiency, use Innovacar maintenance products only.

Step 1 – Preparing the car (to be carried out if not previously done):

Prewash with SP1 Prewash or similar products.
Wash with S2 Foamy to clean the surface.
Proceed to chemically decontaminate the surface from tar using D3 Tar, from ferrous residues using D1 Iron and from limescale using DS Scale;
Then mechanically decontaminate the surface with Clay Bar (or Clay Mitt), using DL Lube;
If necessary, polish the car to remove any defects and achieve a perfectly smooth surface;
Remove any traces of residual oil with D2 check;
Visually check the car to make sure it is perfectly decontaminated and clean, and therefore ready for applying the protective treatment.

Step 2 – Application of the ceramic coating:

Apply a few drops of SiNH Hybrid Coat to the Micron Suede wrapped around the Foam App Block.
Apply the product using the Criss-Cross method (at least 3 times), treating one panel at a time (approximately 50×50 cm);
Allow to polymerise for at least 30 seconds (at high ambient temperatures) and up to a maximum of 2 minutes (at low ambient temperatures), before removing any excess product, if necessary by smoothing with a Micron Buffing Wipe;
If excess product is not properly removed from the surface within 10 minutes, the product can be reapplied, making sure to even it out;

Stage 3 – Cross-linking of the protective barrier:

After 4 hours, apply the final coat of SC0 Hydro Sealant. This is the final protective layer that is intended to preserve the surface during the complete curing period;
Wait 3-4 hours before leaving the vehicle outside and 7 days before leaving it out in the snow/rain or washing it again, as recommended in the Innovacar maintenance programme.

Precautions: Use within 6 months of opening, carefully closing the bottle after use and storing the product in a dry place away from light and heat and at a temperature between 5 and 25°C . Always refer to the MSDS and the precautions and indications on the label. Always follow the Innovacar Cycle System for maximum performance and durability;

Why Use Gtechniq HALO Flexible Film Coating?

By utilising the latest in weatherproof composite siloxane technology HALOv2 enhances the performance of Paint Protection Film (PPF) and vinyl. It’s a chemically bonding, ultra-dense flexible film that becomes the permanent surface of the film – protecting it from the elements a car faces on a daily basis. Simple Steps To Help You Get The Best Results

Shake bottle well and wear gloves
To apply HALO, your vehicle must be indoors and remain indoors, for at least 12 hours after the coating has been applied. For best results, good lighting is essential
If applying to previously installed film, wash and decontaminate the vehicle with Gtechniq W5 Citrus All Purpose Cleaner and W6 Iron and General Fallout Remover
With your surface fully cooled and dry, spray a 30% dilution of isopropyl alcohol (IPA) on to a Gtechniq MF1 ZeroR Microfibre Buff Cloth. This will remove any fingerprints or other surface contaminants ensuring you get the maximum number of chemical bonds between HALO and the film or vinyl
Apply HALO evenly onto the application pad and set the bottle aside
Apply with the applicator provided in overlapping strokes to an area roughly 2ft x 2ft.
After coating a panel remove residue with an MF1 cloth. Always remove from further than you have applied, working from the outside in
Once applied carry out a final check with an MF1 cloth and a bright but diffused light source – this will identify any excess residue left on the surface. Allow the coating to cure for at least one hour and repeat the application process so that all film and vinyl is coated with two layers of HALO
An unopened bottle of HALO has a 12-month shelf life from the time of purchase
Store in a cool/dry place, out of direct sunlight
If opened, use within 3 months, if unopened, use within 12 months

Product Description: Moonlight is an oil-based topical maintenance coating, containing 25% SiO2. Moonlight lasts up to 9 months while greatly enhancing gloss to vehicle surfaces. While primarily used as a topper to SiO2 coatings, Moonlight functions as a highly durable stand alone coating. A deep gloss with SiO2 protection that lasts up to twice as long as traditional waxes and sealants, Moonlight helps vehicles maintain that ‘just detailed’ look.

Durability: 9 months.

Common Uses: When applied all Exterior vehicle surfaces and to wheels, Moonlight helps maintenance cleaning super fast and simple.

Warnings: Wear gloves. Ensure application area is free of loose contamination.

* * Caution: Any towel used to apply Moonlight hardens, therefore be aware of the towel after application. To avoid spray-head clogging, ensure you rise it out after each use and stored separately.

Directions: Clean and dry all exterior vehicle surfaces thoroughly. Apply out of direct sun to cool vehicle panels.

1] With a dedicated MF suede or MF applicator pad, apply a small amount of moonlight to the applicator then begin to work it in, one panel at a time. It spreads out very well… a little goes a long ways.

2] Once applied allow moonlight to dwell for 1-3 minutes, then using a clean soft MF towel, buff the surface until all excess product is removed.

* Moonlight requires 2-4 hours of cure time before water exposure.

Tips / Alternate Uses: Moonlight can also be used to darken hard and faded exterior
