How to use Autoglym Professional Interior Cleaner

1. Shake well. Always pre-test colour fastness of cloth upholstery before use. Apply sparingly with a fine spray to interior surfaces.

Usage Instructions

Polar Wash is a safe and effective cleaner that should be applied using a pressure washer with a foam gun, like Autoglym’s Polar Blaster, after pre-washing with a snow foam such as Polar Blast.

This impressive cleaner will cover your vehicle in a blanket of foam that makes light work of dirt, traffic film and road grime removal.

How to use:

1. Before you start, check that the bodywork and wheels are cool to the touch and out of direct sunlight.
2. We recommend a pre-wash with Polar Blast to gently loosen dirt. If not, rinse first with water to loosen heavy contamination.
3. Polar Wash can be used at various dilutions depending on the density of foam desired. However, we would not recommend using a dilution stronger than 50:50. Adjust foam gun settings as required to increase or reduce foam. 250ml of mixed solution should be enough to cover an average sized car.
4. Spray Polar Wash onto the vehicle, starting at the bottom, ensuring all exterior surfaces are covered, including glass and wheels.
5. The cleaner will begin to loosen dirt on all surfaces. For the most thorough clean we recommend agitating the foam with a sponge or wash mitt.
6. Rinse thoroughly from the bottom up and dry.

Polar Wash is not suitable for use on soft top convertibles.

Top Tip – Follow with Polar Seal for a protective, hydrophobic coating

Polar Seal is a protective coating that has been specially formulated for application through a pressure washer with a foam gun.

It imparts a hydrophobic layer onto paintwork that causes water to bead on the surface, which reduces the time it takes to dry the car. Simply spray onto a clean, wet vehicle, rinse off and dry to leave behind a high gloss finish.

How to use:

1. Before you start, check that the bodywork and wheels are cool to the touch and out of direct sunlight.
2. We recommend starting with a snow foam like Polar Blast to gently loosen dirt, and follow with Polar Wash to remove any dirt or contamination on your paintwork.
3. Only a small amount of Polar Seal is required. Pour no more than 40ml (four capfuls) into your foam bottle and then add at least 200ml of water. This should be all the finished solution required to cover your vehicle. There is no benefit in using any more than 40ml as over application can compromise the finish.
4. Spray Polar Seal onto the clean, wet vehicle, ensuring all exterior surfaces are covered, although avoid direct application to the windscreen.
5. Thoroughly rinse and dry your car to reveal a high-gloss finish that is protected with a hydrophobic coating. The car must be dried with a cloth and not allowed to air dry as water spotting may occur.
6. Use Autoglym Fast Glass to clean the windscreen and wiper blades to ensure no smearing occurs.

We do not recommend applying more than once a month.

Polar Seal is not suitable for use on soft top convertibles or motorcycles.

Do not store diluted product. Please rinse foam bottle and pressure washer lance after use.

Avoid contact of the neat product with surfaces such as tarmac, paved surfaces or concrete.

Top Tip: For the optimum finish, dry with the Autoglym InstaDry cloth.

Polar Blast is a snow foam available in a 2.5 litre which can be applied using a pressure washer or foam gun as a pre-wash stage. It covers the vehicle in a rich blanket of foam that clings to paintwork to gently loosen dirt and heavy soiling prior to shampooing.

This reduces the risk of scratches and swirl marks caused by a sponge or wash-mitts moving over heavy contamination. Polar Blast can be used instead of shampoo as long as the vehicle isn’t heavily soiled, just be sure to rinse the vehicle with water first to remove the top layer of dirt.

Its pH neutral formulation will not remove any existing layers of polish or wax.
