After many many months, 37 to be precise, Dooka were able to not only obtain more of the original Dooka hides, they were able to develop it to their own specification. Instead of an ironed hide, they added two of their own processes to come up with the Dooka Osha wash pad.   A tighter, denser pile that not only holds more suds, the denser pile keeps the hide further away from the paint. This combination of more suds/lubrication and a denser pile keeping the hide further away from the panel reduce the risks of wash marring even more than the original Dooka pad.

Made from some of the finest hides available to a select few, the dooka OSHA wash pads feature a double-sided ultra-deep lambswool pile that allows dirt and grime to be drawn safely away from exterior surfaces during the washing process, thus significantly reducing the chances of inflicting fine scratches and marring. These are wash pads and not wash mitts.

You must thoroughly rinse your sheepskin pads with clean, cool water after each use and allow to air dry. If you machine wash, use a rinse cycle and low spin. Being a natural product [leather], allow to totally dry, if left damp, for example, in a bag, can lead to premature degregation. The more vivid coloured pads, the colour will run, so please do not leave on anything you do not wish to stain. As the dooka wash pads are lovingly hand made, sizes and colours may differ slightly.

You can machine wash your dooka OSHA wash products. We advise that you either use a rinse cycle or a cool delicates/wool wash both with a gentle spin. You shouldn’t need detergents, and we don’t recommend them but If you do, ensure it is wool safe and non-bio and does not contain enzymes. Cool wool, delicates or hand cycle wash only.

OSHA and Original Pad differences
The dooka OSHA’s start off life as the exact same hide as our world famous original dooka pad, we take the hides off the production line as such and apply two of our own processes to it, this curls and frazzles the hides fibres making the pad denser, which will keep it further away from the panel during the wash stages, the fibres will hold more suds, therefore increasing lubrication against the panel, the fibres grip on to and pry the dirt from the panel better due to the curling of the fibres and they will suspend the dirt away from the panel more effectively.

So, the same awesome quality with a dooka twist. Unlike our original pads, the OSHA’s come with an OSHA only candy metallic gloss pad pose sticker and its own little bag, which people seem to really like, great as a little keepsake.
